Switzerland’s first Ultra Trail, launched in 2009, the Trail Verbier St-Bernard by UTMB, will return from July 11–13, 2025.
The Verbier Saint-Bernard UTMB trail features four race distances, ranging from 28 km to 140 km. Run through some of the most breathtaking landscapes in Valais—surrounded by untouched nature and traditional alpine chalets.
The longest event, the X-Alpine (140 km), forms a loop starting in the resort of Verbier and reaching the Col du Grand Saint-Bernard, crossing through the stunning valleys of Bagnes, Entremont, and Ferret.
A shorter, more accessible, and slightly less alpine option highlights the scenic trails surrounding Verbier, offering spectacular views of the Mont Blanc and Combins massifs.
All races finish in Verbier, an authentic alpine village nestled in the heart of the Swiss Alps.
Before becoming a renowned destination for outdoor enthusiasts, Verbier was a quiet mountain hamlet, home year-round to just a few farming families. Its origin and charm have stood the test of time, making it a finish line that’s as spectacular as it is authentic.
